Challenging!

Anyone who knows me at all knows that computers are not my forte. This blog thing is very hard for me to figure out. The other day a good friend came over to help me (thanks Janet!), and my 11year old daughter has also been helping me.s So thus, this blog is a work in process so please be patient with me! Today we received our NVC cable which is a piece a information China needs from the National Visa Center to process Lainey's visa. So hopefully we should receive our Article 5 in 2-3 weeks and then our travel approval another 2-3 weeks after that. If all goes well we are hoping to travel the end of June. This is what we are hoping for because that way Lainey would have more bonding time with her sisters before they start school on August and also because she would be in our arms for her 3rd birthday! We however know that we are not in control of this situation, only God is but we are praying!

LOA!!!!

I told the girls that I wasn't going to start posting on our blog until we got our LOA and so now the time has finally come. We got the call on April 3rd after waiting 112 days. The usual wait is 40 to 90 days so I guess God was testing our patience? The LOA is your letter of acceptance from China inviting you into their country to adopt the child you were matched with. Once you get your LOA it is around 3 months until you travel. Holt gave us estimated dates of June 8 or the 29th. It will be here before we know it and we can bring Lainey home to her forever family! Since the 3rd I have been to the Fed Ex office 3 times, applying for visas and signing other important documents. It is such a delicate process and each time I send something I pray that I did everything right and it gets to its destination. God is good! We can now see the end in sight! We can hardly wait to have 4 girls instead of 3!
